EMA GSA Well Registration Public Workshop 4:00-7:00 PM
Well owners in the Eastern Management Area (EMA) of the Santa Ynez River Valley Groundwater Basin are required to register all wells between July 1 and August 31, 2026. To support landowners with the well registration process, join the EMA Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) at a PUBLIC WORKSHOP on Thursday, July 30. Hear from the EMA GSA Executive Director, learn about the importance of well registration, explore helpful resources, and receive one-on-one assistance from staff.

Format: Participants are welcome to drop by at any time between 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The EMA GSA Executive Director will provide a brief overview at 4:00 PM and again at 5:30 PM. The remaining workshop time will be open house style of multiple stations with EMA GSA staff.

Open House Stations: Participants can sign up at any Open House Station to receive assistance with well registration*. Please see the following descriptions for each station:
· Station #1 - Eligibility Requirements: Clarify eligibility and well registration requirements for your specific property.
· Station #2 - Watermark Training Tutorial: View a brief video tutorial to learn how to register your well in the Watermark portal.
· Station #3 - Well Registration Help Desk: Receive individualized assistance creating your Watermark account and registering your wells.
· Station #4 - Watermark Portal Help Desk: Get individualized support troubleshooting issues with Watermark.
· Station #5 - Ask the EMA GSA Executive Director: Discuss your questions or concerns directly with the Executive Director.
· Station #6 - County Meter Rebate Incentive: Learn more about the County’s meter rebate program.
*Please bring your Verification Code and Checklist of well registration information (information about your well and property, etc.)
